Dr. Jim Townsend has a Th.M. in New Testament literature and exegesis from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in historical theology from Fuller Theological Seminary (CA). For more than twenty years he was Bible Editor (theological specialist) for Cook Communications Ministries in Colorado. He pastored churches in Tennessee, California, and Illinois as well as taught clases at Crichton College (Memphis, TN), Judson College, and Northern Baptist Theological Seminary (IL). Jim is the author of fourteen books.
