For many individuals, receiving instruction over the Internet will be a new experience. However, it will not be difficult to pick up the basic computer skills needed to access our courses. We have designed the structure of the school to be intuitive and user friendly. As a GESOT student, you will be given a login name and password, which will allow you to access your classroom. There you will find information regarding the weekly reading schedule and writing assignments. E-mail will be used to transmit completed writing assignments and communicate with classmates and instructors. Each class will have a discussion forum/newsgroup which will allow you to post questions, answers, and leave topics for discussions. When possible there will be time set aside for live interactive chat with the instructor. These chat rooms will also be open during other hours of the day if you wish to arrange other times to chat with the instructor or fellow students in the course.
